More Mt. Rainier Compositions

There's a lot going on in these two new compositions. First, they're bigger than usual because I wanted to expand on the idea that these compositions should tell a story of the forest in more detail than a single photo. That's one of my core reasons for creating this collage-type art. Second, I'm using bolder single color frames to highlight the four points of the "story". The goal with these was to see if the composition itself, and the color blocks, would work on aesthetically, and if so I would develop more intentional "stories" while I continue working with this style of composition.

Detail of the middle section. That center image is an amazing dream visualization.

Notice the overlapping section in the center of the composition below. That's the result of two photos I took side by side at that forest scene. I love the double-image it produces. I need to do more of that. The color blocks I fear are not working. They draw my eyes in such a forceful way that I feel the rest of the composition is in support of the blocks, not the other way around. I will probably cut those, or put text in them. Not sure at this moment.
